Interrupting the series of fall lookbooks for a little NYFW update: the Orla Kiely SS13 collection is amazing! I thought I wasn’t going to post anything about the upcoming season until it becomes the current season, but I guess I just hadn’t met the right collection. As usual, Orla Kiely’s graphic prints don’t disappoint: so ’60s, so wearable, so good for pattern mixing! Selecting just these pictures was a difficult task! I love the see-through fabric with clouds appliques (they call ’em daisies, but I see clouds), the cuts and the proper buttoning, the crochet lace and the swimsuits. Everything is mixed with pastel purses, delicate bows and that sweetness of a hot pink lip. And did you notice how much yellow walked the runway this week? I love it!
