Lic. Ind. Tehnofrig

Wonder what Lic. Ind. Tehnofrig is? Yeah, me too. It’s a place we came across accidentally this weekend, in our usual walk in unusual parts of the city. Tehnofrig is a high-school (literally translated Techno-cold). This has to do with a former factory of the same name, which produced industrial freezing equipment, but which has been demolished in favor of a chain hardware store. It’s a bizarre place: a penguin greets you at a gate on a hill, you walk on a sandy path and then you find this sports field. No one there. Upper from the field, you find a cafeteria, old cars and old junk; lower from the field is the actual high-school, with the yard carpeted (?) with that red rubber that you usually see on running paths. I’m telling you, it’s not like anywhere you’ve been before. By chance, I wore the same outfit as the greeting penguin, so we had to take a picture together to avoid embarrassment.
