I wanted to make myself a quick one-use foot scrub but things escalated pretty quickly and the next thing I know I had a whole batch! If you’re a fan of the citrusy flavor of Earl Grey tea, you’ll love the scent of this scrub. And in case you didn’t know (I had no idea), this type of tea is considered antioxidant and energizing, which makes it pretty good for the skin! The other ingredients are simple and straightforward: white sugar for exfoliation and olive oil for moisture. Step into your fancy silk bathrobe (jk, you can wear whatever you want) and make some of this summery body scrub for yourself!
What you need:
- 10 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp Earl Grey loose tea
- 6 tsp olive oil
DIY Earl Grey Body Scrub
Combine the sugar and tea. Gradually add the olive oil until you get the desired consistency. Apply generously on wet skin to exfoliate and hydrate.
The scrub will hold for about two weeks, preferably in a covered container. Due to the rough sugar grains, this scrub is not recommended for the face.
