I’ve followed Act Three Apparel since their debut for FW15, and it’s a pleasure to see how the indie brand evolves. In case you haven’t heard of it yet, you should know that it’s based in Toronto, designed for petite women, and ethically produced by local craftsmen. The inspiration this season is a ballet opera from the 1950s (The Tales of Hoffmann), which gives the collection this whimsical, delicate look. There’s velvet involved and beautiful embroidery designed by Rosehound Apparel. And, of course, there’s Larkspur Vintage, the blogger-turned-stylist-and-model they’ve been working with since their debut, and whose style I adore.
