I’m a fan of quick cooking. Not microwave quick, just regular quick. If a dough needs to sit in the fridge for two hours, I’ll skip the recipe entirely. I want my food and I want it now. Of course, I’m also aware that some things take time, and when I spent half the day making a cake for Easter, it was pretty pretty pretty rewarding. The recipes below are for Sundays and for long summer days and for when you want to distract yourself from absolutely anything else. They’re recipes that take a little longer to make but will probably leave you licking your fingers.
